New Century Financial Corporation Names Colleen Wolf, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer
IRVINE, Calif., April 11 -- New Century
Financial Corporation (NYSE: NEW) a real estate investment trust and parent

announced that it has named Colleen A. Wolf -- a recognized leader in
information technology -- as its new Senior Vice President and Chief
Information Officer (CIO). In this role Ms. Wolf will work with the
executive management team to ensure that the company's systems provide the
information and technology necessary for New Century to achieve its
strategic objectives. Ms. Wolf will report directly to Joseph F. Eckroth,
Executive Vice President of New Century Financial Corporation and Chief
Operating Officer (COO) of New Century Mortgage Corporation. Mr. Eckroth
was previously the CIO and was promoted to COO in January.
With 20 years of information technology (IT) experience, Ms. Wolf has a
proven track record of leading organizations through significant
operational changes. Prior to joining the company, she served as Vice
President of Information Technology, Supply Chain and Corporate Finance for
Mattel, Inc.
